Cotswolds Chauffeur tour questions

  • How many people can join a tour?

    Our vehicles can hold 7 guests plus the driver guide. If you require a larger vehicle for more people we can arrange this by special request.
  • How long is the tour?

    The tour last 8 hours, usually from 10am until 6pm, but we can start earlier or later to suit the group.
  • Where will we go?

    We can go wherever you want to go! If you have some places in mind then we will create a custom route for you or you can follow one of our guides suggested routes.
  • Can I do a half day tour?

    This depends on our schedule and the time of year. Please send us an email and we will let you know!
  • What does the tour include?

    Our tours include 8 full hours of touring, the local knowledge of our guide and pick-up/drop-off from your hotel in the Cotswolds. Food, gratuities and entry admission are NOT included.
  • Can you pick me up from London?

    Yes we can but there is an extra charge- a more cost-effective option would be to take a train from London Paddington to Stroud or Moreton-in-Marsh
  • Can you organise my accomodation?

    Yes, we can help you with suggestions of good hotels B & B's in the Cotswolds.
  • How do i get to the Cotswolds?

    The easiest way is to take the train from London Paddington to either Moreton-in-Marsh or Stroud. More details on our Cotswolds Access page. Trains can be booked at www.thetrainline.com
  • Can I stop for photos?

    Yes, as long as it is safe to stop we will do our best to stop so you can get some nice photos of the countryside!
  • What is your cancellation policy?

    More than 28 days before the start: No charge 22 – 27 days before the start: 30% of balance 15 – 21 days before the start: 50% of balance 8-14 days before the start: 75% of balance 1 – 7 days before the start: 100% of balance

Cotswolds Cycle tour questions

  • What should I bring?

    Make sure you wear something comfortable to ride in and suitable for the time of year. We provide bikes, helmets and waterproofs in case it rains,
  • What if it rains?

    Tours run rain or shine. This is after all England and we are famous for our rain! In the case of a freak storm or hazardous weather conditions tours will be cancelled and we will contact you the day before to let you know, so please check your email!
  • Are children allowed?

    Unfortunately due to insurance reasons we cannot accept children under 15 years onto our cyclin tours.
  • What kind of bikes do you provide?

    We provide top of the range 21 speed hybrid bikes suitable for males and females and catering for all heights, so please let us know if you require an extra small or large bike.
  • What about food on the tour?

    Please bring some snacks and some water for the ride. We usually stop in a lovely country pub for a spot of lunch.
  • Am I fit enough?

    All are tours are of moderate difficulty in the 18-25 mile mile range. We feel they are manageable for most people as they are spread over the course of 5-6 hours. If you want something a bit easier or even more difficult then please consider a private group tour with us.
  • What if I need to cancel?

  • Can I choose my own route and stops?

    Our daily group tours follow defined routes and the stop-offs are decided by the tour guide in the best interests of the group. If you wish to have more freedom and choose your own route then please consider booking a private group tour with us, offering you total control over all aspects of the tour.
