Staying in luxury accommodation the village of Kingham, this 3 day/2 night cycling break offers you the chance to explore the surrounding area on a series of circular cycle rides ranging in distance to suit people of all riding abilities. Situated in the Evenlode valley in Oxfordshire, Kingham is a beautiful unspoilt village with large village green, 17th century rectory, two great country pubs frequented by the odd celebrity and plenty of interesting Cotswold stone and thatched cottages. Easily accessible by train from London this is an ideal weekend getaway from the hustle of the city. As you will be staying in Kingham for the duration of the break you do not have to worry about luggage transfers and can focus your time on enjoying the lovely scenery and countryside.
This tour is available to start any day of the week subject to availability.
The cost of this break is £249 per person based on two people sharing a double or twin room. For solo travellers and those wanting a single room a supplement applies (See INCLUDED tab). This break includes two nights luxury accommodation at the Kingham Plough.

Day 1- arrive in Kingham by train from London. Check-in to hotel and spend the rest of your day exploring this pretty little village. Maybe go for a few beers and a spot of dinner at the Plough Inn or the Wild Rabbit.
Day 2– If you have ordered bikes they will arrive in the morning and you will receive a brief biking orientation. Then you are free to choose one of our carefully selected circular cycle rides which range in distance from 6 – 40 miles. Return to Kingham again in the afternoon and maybe visit nearby Daylesford Organic farmshop and cafe.
Day 3– Choose another circular ride from our selection and then head back to the hotel in the afternoon ready for your onwards journey. There is the option of extending the accommodation by one night if you wish to stay on after your tour.
Solo traveller Supplement- for those travelling alone- £80
Single Room Supplement– for those requiring their own room- £50 per person
Bike Hire- £50 per person
Friday/Saturday stay-£25 per night (added manually)
Extra nights accommodation– £120 per room
The Kingham Plough
This break includes two nights luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. Typically we use superior rooms in the Kingham Plough. Visit their website
Kingham is easily accessible on direct trains from London Paddington. The journey usually take around 85 minutes and train tickets can be booked online at www.thetrainline.com
London Paddington is easily accessible from both London Heathrow and Gatwick via public transport.
If you have a vehicle you can also drive to Kingham in around two hours from London.

Am I fit enough?
We offer a variety of different cycle routes raining from 6 miles to 40 miles so there should be something to suit everyone. Please be aware that a good general level of fitness is required and that the Cotswolds is by nature hilly so there are occasional, short ascents but on the whole the routes are quiet and flat wherever possible.
When is the best time of year to go?
You can go any time of year but we recommend March to November as the best time of year for outdoor activities in the Cotswolds.
What should I bring?
We will provide you with a detailed pre-tour folder which includes a packing list but as a guide: layered cycle wear, waterproof jacket and trousers, comfortable trainers, warm jacket.
Do you offer London pickups?
Pick ups from London and other towns and villages can be arranged at an extra cost.
How long is this tour?
This tour last for 2 nights and 3 days with the option to extend by an extra night at the end of the tour
How do i get to the start of the tour?
The easiest option would be to get a direct train from London Paddington to Kingham. Train times and prices can be seen at www.thetrainline.com.
