Top 3 Group Attractions in the Cotswolds

If you are touring the beautiful Cotswolds as part of a group, there are many fascinating sights for you to discover. Here are three special must-see places that will make the trip a memorable one for you and your family or friends.

  1. The Roman Baths

Located in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath, The Roman Baths will awe you with history and wonder. The stunning temple built by the Romans on the site of Britain’s only hot spring still flows with naturally hot water. You and your group can experience living history as you walk around the Great Bath and visit the Roman Baths museum.

The museum has audio guides in 12 languages, which are included in the admissions price. Tickets must be booked online in advance. The Grand Pump Room, built in the 18th century, still exists today as the Pump Room Restaurant, where you can enjoy afternoon tea. To round it off, sample the famous mineral spa water from a fountain in the West Baths.

  1. The National Arboretum

Westonbirt Arboretum is a remarkable and unique tree garden that was created by Victorian entrepreneur Robert Holford, laid out over 600 acres. You will discover 15,000 trees collected from around the world, with seasonal trail leaflets to guide you around some of the most noteworthy species, and a spectacular Treetop Walkway.

There is also a restaurant and gift shop, and a picnic site.

  1. Owlpen Manor

This hidden gem of a manor house is steeped in medieval romance, and certainly worth stepping off the beaten path for. The garden is considered one of the most complete examples of an early formal garden, full of interesting levels. Guided group house tours are also available by prior appointment, and there is a picnic area for you to enjoy.
